SYNOPSIS

This mantra is for abundance all kinds of abundance, prosperity, good relationships, unlimited resources. The mantra is Om Gum Shreem Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha

Om is the seed sound for the 6th chakra, your center of intiution
Gum to remove the obstacles that are in the way of your abundance
Shreem The seed sound of Abundance
Maha – the great one – you want your abundance to great in quality as well as quantity
Lakshmi – The Goddess – The principle – the vizuale of prosperity with gold coins pouring out of her hands.
Yei – an Energy or Shakti activating sound – That children are just naturally plugged into! You can hear childrens saying yayyy when they are playing and releasing energy or shakti
Swaha – a salutation

According to the rules of mantra chanting there are some mantas that the ending changes based on your age. If you are under the age of 28 the ending is Namaha over the age of 28 the ending is Swaha.

This is the mantra to use when you are doing visualization for manifestation . So now clsoe your eyes, look up at your thrid eye and see yourself having something that you want.
See yourself having it now!
As you hold that image in your minds eye lets chant that mantra

Triangle is a sacred symbol in many cultures. This is a good pose to remind us to open up our hearts so we can feel grateful for what we have. And stand in this sacred symbol that we create.

Now let’s stand up, and step your legs apart, do a little Alignment check and see if your ankles or underneath your wrists, then spin your right foot out really pressing your big toe down into the floor. Inhale and expand out as you look all right your left hand exhale reaching over your right leg rest in your right hand on your right shin or sliding your hand down to your foot or your son I meant check and see if your ankles are underneath your wrist, then spin your right foot out really pressing your big toe down into the floor. Inhale and expand out as you look all right your left-hand exhale reaching over your right leg resting your right hand on your shin. Keep your core active to support your back as you twist your chest open. Feeling that expansion across your chest! Expanding your capacity For bliss.

Then let’s come back up and do the other side pivoting your right foot in and the left foot out. Inhale reaching your arms out, exhale reaching over your left leg. Opening up! Making more space inside! Creating inner cellular space!

Bring your feet back together close your eyes take a deep breath in! Exhale that energy of joy and appreciation! It’s a great day to be alive!

This is the 3rd Niyama and it is defined as self discipline.

The literal definition of tapas is Heat.

In this case the heat that builds from effort.

You can see tapas in action during your physical practices.

There is a heat that builds as you move.

When the tapas build, they purify the body.

Tapas are at work with any task that you want to perform and see results.

Because tapas are a repetition, to do something over and over again is necessary to see results and to succeed.

An example is when you are cleaning something, you wipe it over and over again until you get it clean.

Tapas help us to make healthy changes in our lives.

It’s important to practice self discipline and to have practices such as yoga that we do everyday.

The mantra is Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha to remove obstacles.

In this mantra we are chanting to ganesha the unifier, he unifies by releasing everything that doesn’t serve us so we can have a sense of wholeness.

When we chant this we can be chanting to remove the obstacles that we know we have and we are also releasing the obstacles that we don’t know we have so that we can be unified in mind, body and spirit.
